We have been taking speech sessions from Vany for about 7 years now for my son with asd and speech apraxia. The term apraxia was totally new to us, until Vany introduced. Vany came in as a ray of hope, when as a family, we were so dejected if my kid would ever utter a word/sound.From then on, there was no looking back.
Vany is a very dedicated and kind professional and is always ears to what works and what doesn't. She comes up with different ideas and approaches customized for every kid.Thats a much needed quality in a therapist as the saying goes "one size doesn't fit all".
Her understanding about my kid and his strengths,gave me hope and confidence during hopeless times. Ever grateful to her for that. My son is 11 years now and he has come a long way in terms of his vocabulary and communication under her guidance. And still looking forward to doing more.
She has good knowledge about OPT and will guide accordingly. As she always mentions, consistency is the key.

Our daughter was non-verbal completely at that time. She has Autism spectrum disorder. Miss Vany helped us to overcome my daughter's apraxia by giving us different tips, task and goals to work with our daughter . Miss Vany has all kinds of experiences and knowledge about "talking tools". Gradually her apraxia of speech started getting better by the use of talking tools.
Ms. Vany managed the sessions according to our child's needs and requirements. Initially, Ameera was not ready to even sit in her sessions but Miss Vany being patient made it easy for us. I get amazed with Her patience level.
Our daughter has improved immensely. Now she has gone from speaking nothing to taking names of almost all colors and objects.She is trying to speak in small phrases presently. Miss Vany also introduced us to the world of AAC devices. She convinced me to start using AAC device for Ameera's communication, which indeed helped a lot in her improvement.
No words can describe what role Ms. Vany have in our parenting journey.
